Q:  How can I determine the correct bracelet or anklet size to order?
A:
It is important that you get a correct measurement when ordering your jewelry.  When you measure your wrist or ankle, you do not want to take a tight measurement.  You must allow some slack in the measurement.  You do not need to wear the magnetic clasp directly against the skin in order for it to work.  It is better to be a little loose rather than tight.  If the bracelet or anklet is too tight, you can flex and open the magnetic clasp and run the risk of losing your piece of jewelry.

To determine the correct size for ordering a bracelet, place an index finger on the underside of the wrist and measure around the wrist AND index finger.  This will give you the smallest size to order.  If you like to wear your bracelets a little looser, add in 1/4 inch.

For anklets, use the same guidelines as ordering a bracelet.  When measuring your ankle, measure where you want the jewelry to set on the ankle.  Some like the anklet to rest near the ankle and some like the anklet to rest higher up on the narrowest part of the leg.  For comfort reasons, it is better not to have the anklet rest directly on the anklebone.

Q:  How can I view the status of my order?
A:
Go to the Customer Service, Account Information page. This page lists all your orders. Click the date of the order whose status you wish to view.

Q:  What are your shipping costs?
A:
Shipping costs start at $6.00.  You can see an estimate of shipping costs by viewing your cart.  However, final shipping costs will be displayed on the Invoice you see before confirming your order.

Q: What if I ordered the wrong size?
A:
You can return the piece to us and we will be happy to resize it for you.  Please see our sizing guidelines above to determine the correct size in inches.  You can check our show schedule to see if we will be in your area to resize it on-site or you can mail it in to us.  If mailing, please include the new size, a return address and a daytime phone number in case we have any questions.

Please send in a padded or bubble-style envelope with $6.00 for return shipping and handling to

  • Jen's Magnetic Connection Inc.
  • Attn:  Jennifer Buscemi
  • PO Box 185
  • Fairport, NY  14450-0185

We will get it resized and sent back out to you.

(The reason for the padded envelope is that the USPS equipment is steel and the magnetic clasp ends will stick to the equipment when it gets sorted and we will get an empty envelope with nothing to resize.)

Q:  How often should I wear my magnetic jewelry?
A:
We recommend wearing your jewelry as consistently as possible, even while sleeping, to get the most benefit.  The more consistently you wear the jewelry, the better results you will see.  The only time that we recommend taking it off is when you are going to be in water - showering, hot tub, bathing, swimming, doing dishes, etc.  Otherwise wear it continuously,  night time and day.

Q:  Can I wear my magnetic jewelry in water?
A:
We recommend removing your magnetic jewelry before going in water - showering, hot tub, bathing, swimming, doing dishes, etc.  Repeated exposure to moisture will cause the magnetic ends of your jewelry to rust. Rust will not prevent the magnets from working; they will just not look as nice.  They will also need to be cleaned more frequently to remove any of the rust particles from collecting on the ends, which can prevent them from closing properly.  Use household tape (scotch, packing, etc.) to dab the magnetic ends to remove any particles or dust that accumulates.  This can be done as frequently as necessary.

Q:  Where is the best place for magnetic jewelry to be worn?
A:
Our jewelry can be best worn on any of the three major pulse point areas - neck, wrist or ankle. It doesn't necessarily need to be closest to the site needing help in order to provide the  most benefit.  Wear your jewelry pieces where they will be most comfortable and wear them as consistently as possible to get the most therapeutic benefit.

Q:  Can I wear my magnetic jewelry next to a watch?
A:
Your magnetic bracelet can be worn on either wrist, just not directly next to a battery-operated watch.  The magnets that we use are strong enough to drain the battery in a watch in about three days or less.  It is okay to wear on the opposite arm of your watch.

Q: Does it matter which side of the body I wear my magnetic jewelry on?
A:

Some customers always wear their jewelry on the same location, while others like to change which side of their body that they wear the magnetic jewelry on.  Some customers even switch and wear their jewelry on one side during the day and change to the opposite side when they sleep at night.  Other customers wear a bracelet during the day and switch to an anklet at night when they sleep.  You can experiment and see which works best for you.

Q:  Can I wear magnetic jewelry if I have a pacemaker?
A:
We recommend checking with your physician first before wearing or using any magnetic products.  We have many pacemaker customers that received approval from their doctors to wear magnetic jewelry on their ankles, since that is the furthest point from their pacemaker or defibrillator.  Again, check with your physician first.

Q:  Can I wear magnetic jewelry if I am pregnant?
A:
We recommend checking with your OBGYN first before wearing or using any magnetic products.  It is always best to let your doctor know when you are using any type of alternative therapy - whether it be herbs, ointments, oils or magnetics.  We have many customers that received approval from their doctors to wear magnetic jewelry because it is a non-chemical way for them to get relief from back pain, help with swelling, relief from migraines, sleep help and even help with nausea at times.  Again, check with your physician first.

Q:  How can I get my broken jewelry repaired?
A:
We will repair your jewelry for the lifetime that you own it.  You can check our show schedule and see if we will be in your area to drop your repair off for us to fix it on-site or mail it in to us in a padded, bubble-style envelope.  Please send in as many beads and pieces as possible, including the string and magnet ends.  If known, let us know what size it should be when repaired.  Please include a daytime phone number in case we have any questions regarding sizing, pattern, etc.

Please send with $6.00 for return shipping and handling to

  • Jen's Magnetic Connection Inc.
  • Attn:  Jennifer Buscemi
  • PO Box 185
  • Fairport, NY  14450-0185

We will get it fixed and sent back out to you.

(The reason for the padded envelope is that the USPS equipment is steel and the magnetic jewelry ends will stick to the equipment when it gets sorted and we will get an empty envelope with nothing to repair.)

Q:  How do I clean my magnet ends?
A:
We recommend dabbing the contact ends of your magnetic jewelry with household tape (scotch, packing, etc.) to remove dust or particles that collect on the ends.  If not removed, this collection of "schmutz" can build up and prevent the magnets from closing properly.  A dry toothbrush can also be used to clean out the inside of the magnets or between the beads.  We do not recommend using any liquids as the use of liquids can promote rusting of the magnets.

Q:  Can I get new magnets put on my jewelry?
A:
We can definitely put new magnet ends on your magnetic jewelry.  The cost is $5.00 per magnet set whether for a beaded or corded piece.  Single strand bracelets, necklaces, anklets or pet collars would be $5.00 for a new magnet closure, while a double strand piece would be $10.00 and a triple would be $15.00.  Magnet replacement can be done at most of our shows or if mailing in, please send to our PO Box address in a padded envelope and include the $6.00 for shipping and handling.  Please also include a note letting us know what you would like done, if the size/length is still good or if you would like that adjusted too.
